A lifecycle inventory was performed by an independent contractor who calculated that Solena IBGTL plant’s greenhouse gas emissions savings exceed the targets required under both the Renewable Energy Directive (RED) and the Roundtable on Sustainability Biofuels (RSB)
- Up to 95% reduction in CO2 emissions
- Eliminates methane from landfill
- No competition for land or water
- Produces renewable naphtha
- Steam used to generate green electricity
